Garlic
A daily intake of garlic may have no less effective impact on reducing blood pressure than the reception of medical preparations.
Such a conclusion was reached by an international team of scientists led by Australia’s Adelaide University. Patients who for five months on a daily basis garlic, get the same relief as those who used drugs.
According to the scientist-cardiologist of the Center of Biomedical Genetics, University of Sheffield Tim Chico, an interesting study has shown consistently impressive effects of garlic. “However, we do not know whether garlic has the same effect for a long period – as well as contribute to this medication,” – said the specialist.
He said the impact “of natural resources is reinforced by other useful steps – reduced intake of meat products, reduced salt intake and alcohol consumption, increased physical activity.”
More than 16 million people in Britain suffer from high blood pressure, which is responsible for 40 percent of strokes of the celebrated annually 150 thousand, and tens of thousands of heart attacks.
